Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in the Berkeley, CA area. As a direct hire position, you will have the opportunity to work with our premier clients and qualify for their full benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead civil engineering design for various projects, including site development, utilities, rail, storm water management, and road/trail design.
  • Pursue and execute work, with a diverse project background and extensive experience in leading multidiscipline projects.
  • Organize and develop project teams to execute specific phases or aspects of projects, including technical studies, project design, and project inspection.
  • Supervise junior staff and maintain a hands-on role in the production of deliverables.
  • Develop project scope of work, estimate client needs, prepare project schedules, and track project progress.
  • Coordinate with in-house engineering, architects, environmental/planning, and outside consultants.
  • Review project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.
  • Assure the project meets quality control and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of professional experience on a diverse range of projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
  • Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as various engineering software systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Licensed Engineer with 8-15 years of professional experience on transportation-related projects.
  • Design experience for site development projects and construction administration.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Software expertise in Civil 3D, GeoPak/OpenRoads, and Bluebeam.
