Benefits Coordinator Job Description

At Interstates, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Benefits Team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our employee benefits programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage benefits paperwork and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with open enrollment, benefits audits, and other related tasks to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Process insurance billing and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
