Responsibilities- Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- BLS certification and ACLS certification for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, and MHN Pre-Op areas.
- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for RNs administering chemotherapy.
- APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card for RNs administering chemotherapy in pediatric settings.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to lift and move patients, work in a variety of settings, and maintain a high level of physical and mental stamina.
