Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist II to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, utilizing your expertise to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families, taking into account age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as necessary.
  • Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
  • ACLS American Heart E-Card (ACLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • NRP Certification (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
