Patient Safety Officer

Carle Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Officer - Ambulatory Care to join our team. As a key member of our quality and safety department, you will be responsible for leading and implementing patient safety initiatives across our ambulatory care settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement patient safety policies and procedures
- Conduct root cause analyses and apparent cause analyses to identify and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient safety and quality of care
- Monitor and analyze patient safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement education programs to promote patient safety and quality improvement
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Five years of hospital/ambulatory healthcare experience, with three years of quality, safety, and performance improvement experience
