Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Carle Health. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to protect employees, visitors, patients, and facility at regional Carle outpatient locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor perimeter and interior doors/areas to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Patrol building and grounds to identify safety and security issues/hazards and investigate.
  • Monitor cameras to ensure a secure environment.
  • Assist staff with potential security issues and intervene when necessary.
  • Provide employees with security awareness education.
  • Provide customer service support for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist staff and visitors with Emergency Management events.
Requirements
  • Security experience preferred.
  • Driver's License upon hire and Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card within 6 months.
  • Taser Certification, OC Pepper Foam Certification, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
