Job Overview

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled Meat Manager to join our team at our Brockton location. As a key member of our grocery store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards for all meat products.
  • Supervise and participate in the cutting, trimming, and preparation of various meat cuts according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries with expertise and enthusiasm.
  • Achieve sales goals and maximize profitability through effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory control.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in meat department operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, processing techniques, and quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
