Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Process Owner to join our team at State Street Global Advisors within the U.S. SPDR Business. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, business intelligence, and sales to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing campaign contacts and leads to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams to guarantee that marketing campaign contacts and leads are swiftly and effectively actioned by the sales team.
- Distribute marketing event campaign contacts and leads, providing necessary documentation and follow-up instructions.
- Monitor sales follow-up progress to ensure timely completion and support campaign reporting requirements.
- Partner with business intelligence to develop and maintain dashboards for sales leadership, allowing for evaluation of marketing campaign effectiveness by channel and territory.
Training and Development
- Lead the ongoing evolution of the sales lead and campaign follow-up process through effective training and technology integration.
- Educate new sales team members on Salesforce usage, tailoring content to the needs of different sales channels.
- Create and implement a comprehensive training curriculum covering Salesforce, sales lead management, and marketing campaign follow-up processes.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across marketing, research, national accounts, capital markets, and sales.
- Actively participate in joint meetings with marketing, business intelligence, and sales leadership to present updates on campaign follow-up status and outcomes.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the investment sector, with a proven track record in supporting the ETF business.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and influence both internal and external partners.
- A positive attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset, with enthusiasm for educating colleagues and clients.
Strategic Insight
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills to assess and adapt the sales process based on market dynamics and team capabilities.
- Current securities licenses (Series 7 and Series 63) are required.
- A clean compliance and U4 record is essential.
