Medical Office Assistant

This position is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients under the supervision of a Physician / Advanced Practice Nurse / Physician Assistant in a clinic setting. The Medical Office Assistant will carry out any duties delegated and requested by the medical provider, demonstrating an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider.
- Carry out duties delegated by the medical provider.
- Understand and support the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Certified in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care provider (CPR) upon hire.
- Completion of the 12 Medical Terminology CBL's within the first 3 months of hire.
- Completion of 'Injection Administration' training and competency within the first month.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in a clinic setting, providing services to patients of various ages. The Medical Office Assistant will work under the supervision of a medical provider and will be expected to demonstrate a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services.
