About the Job

This is an overnight part-time position requiring 28 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring youth in our emergency shelter program, developing and implementing individualized service plans, and maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor youth in the emergency shelter program
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Maintain accurate records and report progress to stakeholders
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes healthy relationships and socialization skills

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse populations, including children and families.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children and families; ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
