Job Overview

The Diesel Mechanic Technician at Central Maintenance Corporation is a critical role that requires mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in a shop environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing engines, drive trains, and electronic systems. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshooting and repairing complex issues with company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair engine problems
  • Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • ASE certification in heavy truck mechanics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary Range: $18/hour - $25/hour
