Highly Skilled Diesel Mechanic Wanted for a Dynamic Fleet

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our vehicles.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $1222 per week, or $30.50 per hour. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we offer a range of benefits, including:
- Average Weekly Pay: $1222
- Hourly Pay: $30.50 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
- Sign On Bonus: Ryder Pays You $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days
As a Senior Level Diesel Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics and repairs.
- Diagnosing complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable.
- Completing complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision.
- Replacing defective components as instructed.
- Working unsupervised on most tasks.
- Performs facility maintenance duties.
- Interacting with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred.
- BASIC TOOLS REQUIRED
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics and repairs.
- Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
