Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, you will provide anesthesia and perioperative services to surgical and out-of-the-operating room procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a team-based environment.
  • Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Residents to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Participate in a wide range of cases, including Orthopedic, ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, and Plastics.
  • Collaborate with a fantastic group of Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, NPs, Surgeons, and Perioperative personnel to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Opportunity to work with Anesthesia Residents and SRNAs in all anesthetized locations.
  • Ability to dedicate time for rest and relaxation post-call and administrative duties.
  • Academic appointment with George Washington University.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced cardiothoracic anesthesia training.
  2. Acute perioperative pain management/regional anesthesia.
  3. Perioperative anesthesia services.
