Opportunity for Anesthesiologists

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia and perioperative services to surgical and out-of-the-operating room procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including CRNAs, NPs, and Surgeons, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the education and training of Anesthesia Residents and SRNAs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced cardiothoracic anesthesia training.
  • Acute perioperative pain management/regional anesthesia experience.
  • Perioperative anesthesia services expertise.

Benefits:

  • Family-friendly schedule with 8-10 hour days on a rotating basis.
  • General call from home approximately 1 day per week and every 8th weekend call from home.
