Overview

The Arizona Biltmore, a luxury hotel and resort, is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of food and beverage outlets, including planning, supervising, and participating in the performance evaluation process for subordinate staff.
  • Ensure service quality, expense control, and revenue generation are maintained at targeted levels.
  • Supervise food and beverage outlet areas for cleanliness, proper set-up, opening and closing procedures, and ensure an appropriate level of supplies and materials is maintained.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation.
  • Participate in the updating and facilitating of training programs for associates in food and beverage.
  • Participate in the hiring process.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of restaurant experience, preferably in a lead role.
  • Upscale dining experience.
  • Prior leadership experience, preferred.
  • Hotel and/or luxury hotel experience, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Prior experience with Agilysys, a plus.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, a plus.
  • Food Handler Certification.
  • TIPS Certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus.
  • Great attitude.
  • Desire to grow career in hospitality.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team with positivity and high energy.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
