About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training curricula that align with our business objectives and meet the needs of our employees.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training programs virtually and in-person, using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs are relevant, effective, and meet the needs of our employees.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion of training programs.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external vendors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience creating training materials, documents, job aids, and SOPs, as well as teaching, training, and instructing individuals and groups in person and remotely.
  • Skills: Expert user in Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, with experience administering post-training evaluations and managing multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
  • Instructional Design: Expertise in instructional design and development, including the use of various techniques and approaches to build relationships at various levels.
