Cardiac Cath Lab Clinical RN Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical RN Coordinator to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Longmont United Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supporting the department's clinical and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate clinical and departmental activities, including shift charge, department, and service line management.
  • Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with quality standards and patient care standards.
  • Act as liaison between physicians and patient care teams, maintaining effective communication and promoting cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Supervise staff, authorize work procedures, and assign duties.
  • Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements:
  • 1-year clinical RN experience.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • RN License to practice in the state of employment as applicable, required.
  • Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred.
