Job Summary

The Home Care Coordinator is a critical role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the staffing process, including scheduling shifts, managing staff requests, and maintaining positive relationships with internal staff, clinical field employees, contract staff, patients, and referral sources.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Triage and manage incoming phone calls for Namaste Home Care locations.
  2. Match and schedule new clients to caregivers quickly and efficiently.
  3. Review and address open shifts daily.
  4. Perform data entry for new clients, ensuring compliance and accurate detail.
  5. Coordinate with the marketing team to report on available shifts and areas.
  6. Prepare reports for scheduling accountability meetings.
  7. Cross-train as a caregiver to support call-outs and urgent caregiving needs.
  8. Support supervisory visits, orientation, and caregiver training as needed.
  9. Prepare admission packets, resource packets, and other administrative assistant responsibilities.
  10. Maintain information on current staff and contract staff demographic information, skill sets, availability, and productivity levels.
  11. Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Namaste Home Care offices.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
  2. Establish productive organizational skills and habits.
  3. Provide excellent customer service skills.
  4. Demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
