We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Point of Care Coordinator to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions within your assigned section, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide direction and guidance for all functions within the assigned section, including procedures, quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance.
  • Supervisory Duties: Assume supervisory responsibilities for other sections in the absence of the supervisor, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of performance.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Oversee all laboratory functions during periods when Laboratory Management is unavailable, including on-call duties, to ensure seamless operation and patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all CAP (College of American Pathologists) regulations, keeping the department current with regulatory requirements and implementing necessary changes or improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences or related field.
  • MT or MLT certification by ASCP, AMT, HEW or NCA and a WV State Licensure as a Laboratory Practitioner.
