Job Title: Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall health of our IT systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and operate all IT network infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and security.
  • Research and resolve problems or errors within the IT network infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement standards for workstation operating system installations.
  • Maintain network/system monitoring software.
  • Perform systems diagnostics to identify potential deficiencies.
  • Propose and implement capital projects to improve IT operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in IT and Computer Industry.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments.
  • Strong experience with Cisco WAN and LAN equipment and software.
  • Strong experience with security software and antivirus software.
  • Experience with VPN technologies and storage systems.
  • Strong experience with Virtual Environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule according to business needs.
