**Job Summary:**

New Beginnings Today is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner: Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with mental health disorders and substance abuse issues.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy and education on psychotropic medications.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise RN and LPN staff members.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  2. Current Georgia licensure by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  3. 1 year of experience working with clients suffering from MH/SA issues and their families (preferred).
  4. Active DEA registration (if prescribing medication).
  5. Ongoing continuing education and training in mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
