The Healogics team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic outpatient wound care environment. As a Patient Navigator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centers, while performing general office duties to support the staff.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Center leadership to optimize daily patient census.
  • Participate in staff meetings to support key functions within the Center.
  • Greet patients and other visitors, answer calls, and route them to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain patient communication needs, including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for services.
  • Collect and enter patient charges in databases.
  • Verify and reconcile charges as directed, prepare monthly patient survey data, and transmit it to providers.
  • Assemble new patient charts, maintain and file existing patient charts, and spot-check charts for data completeness and signatures.
  • Coordinate and schedule ancillary testing with other hospital departments.
  • Arrange for patient transportation as needed.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies as required.

The estimated hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.85 to $23.26 per hour. This range is based on factors such as education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
