About the Role

Southall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce, and people together in a powerful and unique way. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People and Culture Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in all aspects of the Human Resources Function, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and training and development.
  • Office Administration: Facilitate an organized and efficient office environment that provides meaningful support to leaders and team members.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Coordinate with departmental hiring managers to manage the recruiting process flow among the resort's departments.
  • Candidate Engagement: Conduct pre-screening interviews with candidates, coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule follow-up interviews, and complete initial reference checks.
  • Onboarding and Training: Supervise initial onboarding tasks for new hires, including pre-employment forms, systems access, and documentation.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in assessing team member satisfaction with benefit plans through pulse surveys and other avenues.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Track and monitor compliance-related items such as ABC Cards, EEO Reporting, OSHA reporting, and other internal items as needed.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Act as a cultural ambassador at all times, providing our team with the highest levels of support and assistance.
  • Team Member Engagement: Encourage team member engagement through our different team member recognition programs.
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical support to the Executive Director of People & Culture and Assistant Director of People & Culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Human Resources experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members in a friendly and positive manner, ability to listen, speak, and write English to ascertain and respond to team member needs.
