Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our Planning, Design, and Construction Department, you will be responsible for managing construction-related activities and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet the required standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project participants, including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside agencies, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project records, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and support to project managers and construction trades.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare delivery, architecture, and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD systems, CAFM, estimating, cost control, scheduling, construction administration, quality control, specification writing, and space planning.
  • Ability to budget, make financial projections, and write reports.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups, including individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
