Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Monitor Construction Activities: Verify compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications to ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with established standards.
  • Identify and Report Defects: Detect installation defects and produce daily reports and records of construction activities to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with project teams to provide input and contribute to the success of each project, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Take Ownership of Projects: Accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Travel and Client Engagement: Travel to construction sites and work with clients to ensure outstanding service and build strong relationships.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: 1-3 years of inspection and construction monitoring experience, with a 2 to 4-year college level education (degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar field a plus).
  • Skills and Expertise: Experience in multi-family residential, institutional, and commercial construction projects with familiarity in roofing, waterproofing, stucco, siding, windows, sealants, and other building envelope areas.
  • Personal Qualities: Current driver's license and reliable transportation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
