About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Reston Hospital Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate's degree or higher in nursing.
