Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, medications, and test results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment
