Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
