Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team at Buncombe County Public Schools. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board
- Follow established routes and schedules
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Requirements:
- Certification as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holder with passenger and school bus endorsements
- Ability to obtain a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
