Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Miami Beach Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and waitlists, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with our clinical staff.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, process payments, and maintain accurate records in our Electronic Health Record system.
  • Assist with HEDIS process and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and scanning patient documents.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of organization and multitasking.
  • Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
