McAllister Towing is seeking a highly qualified Internal Auditor/Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide training and technical expertise to marine personnel on various subjects and settings.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with vessel crews and shore-side staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve company goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- A current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- A valid USCG Licensed Merchant Mariner.
- Tugboat sailing experience.
- Certification as an internal auditor.
- Prior experience auditing and conducting training in a marine environment.
- Superior communication, presentation, and software skills.
- The ability to use a computer terminal.
- The ability to operate telephones and standard office equipment.
- Completion of the New Hire Familiarization Checklist (MCA-001).
$88,500.00 per year.
