Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Aide to join our team at Homes for the Homeless, Inc. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor the entry and exit of residents and enforce rules and regulations.
- Prepare incident reports and maintenance tickets as needed.
- Assist in emergency situations and learn the fire safety plan and evacuation procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Current 8-hour certificate.
- 16-hour certificate.
- Fire Guard (F-2) or Fire Safety Coordinator license a plus.
