Job Title: Hardware/Software Integration Lab Manager

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Hardware/Software Integration Lab Manager to support our team in Rosslyn, VA. This individual will be responsible for technical oversight of our laboratory space, ensuring the successful integration and deployment of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lab Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective utilization of resources, tools, and personnel to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor and schedule maintenance/calibration of equipment.
  • Ensure access & security of the space.
  • Schedule and deconflict lab usage.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and integration specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to define integration requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • System Integration: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions for complex software systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for testing, debugging, and quality assurance to maintain high standards of software performance and reliability.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the lab.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and testing procedures.
  • Customer Interaction: Interface with customers to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with integration solutions.

Requirements:

  • Active secret clearance or higher.
  • 6 years of related experience (Network or Systems Administration, Lab Management, Systems Integration or similar).
  • Experience configuring or maintaining network or computer hardware equipment.
  • Experience debugging or performing quality assurance on software/hardware.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with lab build out and accreditation.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation: $50-$65/hr, Salary: 105-130k.
