Job Title: Principal SW Integration

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal SW Integration to join our team at eSpace. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for integrating and testing communication systems, including User Equipment (UE), gNodeB, 5G Core, and NMS products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for end-to-end system testing of the NTN communication system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all software and hardware components.
  • Create detailed test cases covering features, functions, performance, scalability, stability, and security.
  • Execute both automated and manual test cases, documenting results and recommending corrective actions.
  • Investigate and recommend new tools for development of the product.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues and validate fixes.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in testing Wireless communications and networking products.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end signaling (UE to Core Network - Access Stratum and Non-Access Stratum) flow in 5G networks.
  • Strong expertise in 5G Core network components and functions.
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP network fundamentals (L2 and L3 protocols).
  • Hands-on experience with KVM (or equivalent), Kubernetes, and AWS (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Network Management Systems and FCAPS concept.
  • Knowledge of RF signal measurement and modulation concepts.
  • Strong experience in Requirements Analysis, Test Planning & Strategy, Test Case Design, Test Execution and Management, Defect Management, Test Metrics & Reporting, Manual & Automation Strategy and Continuous Improvement.
  • Hands-on experience in Test Case execution, analyzing logs/traces/Wireshark, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and operating test harnesses.
  • Experience with various tools and applications: Test Management Systems (Zephyr/Test Rail), Confluence, Bug Tracking (Jira), Version control (GIT), and Continuous Integration (Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
