Job Description

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is a leading provider of child care services, research, and advocacy. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Coaching Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development and a proven track record of delivering quality coaching and technical assistance services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching and support to child care providers to help them improve the quality of their programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and technical assistance to child care providers to help them improve the quality of their programs and services.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to help child care providers achieve their goals.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person coaching sessions, training, and technical assistance to support child care providers.
  • Collaborate with the Crystal Stairs QRIS Team to ensure effective program implementation and achievement of program goals.
  • Build connections with local higher education institutions and professional development opportunities to support child care providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE/Child Development or related field with 24 ECE units or Program Director Permit.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a child care setting, working with adult learners, and a diverse client population.
  • Minimum of two years of experience designing training and facilitation of trainings.
  • Experience with quality improvement programs with a strength-based approach.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality rating tools, child observation and screening tools, and higher education systems.
