We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Department of Urology at UPMC Bedford. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our practice.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will work 3 days per week in Everett, PA, and 2 days per week at UPMC Altoona Hospital. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our practice by providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with the care delivery team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) or a graduate degree from an approved nurse practitioner program. You will also need to have current state licensure and certification as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, as well as current CPR certification.
