Urology Physician Opportunity at Optum

Optum, a clinician-led care organization, is seeking a skilled Urology Physician to join our team in Everett or Arlington, Washington. As a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treating and managing patients with urological conditions, providing understanding of diagnosis, treatment, therapy, and management of patients according to current standards of care.
  • Counsels and educates patients and families, maintaining accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Communicates effectively and respectfully with physicians, other health professionals, and staff, coordinates care with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Follows ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and unanticipated adverse outcomes, demonstrates the highest level of accountability for professional practice.

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school, completion of Urology Residency, and Board Eligible or Certified status.
  • Unrestricted license to practice in Washington State or ability to obtain before hire, maintain BLS certification.
