Primary Care Physician Leader

ChenMed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to lead our team of healthcare professionals. As a Lead Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of care providers, and driving clinical excellence in our medical centers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Lead a team of care providers, including care promoters, care facilitators, and care coordinators, to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists and hospitalists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to care providers on clinical best practices and new technologies.
- Contribute to the development of the medical center's strategic plan and goals.
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty.
- Current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross.
- At least 5 years of experience in primary care, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
