Your Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by responding to incoming inquiries.
- Research and analyze customer concerns related to claims, eligibility, and financial matters to ensure successful resolutions.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers and direct requests to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Assist callers with portal navigation, registration, password resets, and other technical issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of calls, including concerns raised and actions taken.
- Utilize provided resources effectively to deliver accurate information.
- Collaborate professionally with team members and management while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and production targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- A minimum of two years of inbound telephone customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using personal computers and applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to solve technical issues over the phone and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with Medicaid, is highly desirable.
Work Environment
- This role may initially allow for remote work but will require on-site presence as directed.
- Candidates must reside within a specified distance from the workplace.
- Availability for an 8-hour shift during standard business hours is essential.
