Position Title: Facilities Technician

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Service Areas: Responsible for multiple units across various properties in the Oregon region.

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt

Reports To: Property Manager

Role Summary: Accountable for ensuring the property’s appearance and safety standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to housing regulations and safety protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Respond promptly to emergencies
  • Efficiently complete work orders and unit turnovers
  • Maintain inventory and organization of tools and supplies
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Engage professionally with residents

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid work authorization in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance
  • Possession of a personal set of hand tools
  • Knowledge of various maintenance functions
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Commitment to ethical practices and continuous improvement

Working Environment:

  • Inspecting property grounds and buildings
  • Office tasks involving computer and phone usage
  • Physical activities including lifting and bending
