Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy-duty vehicles
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair
- Valid NonCommercial Driver License (CDL) Class E and/or Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
