Position Overview:
The role of the Product Support Tech I is crucial in delivering exceptional technical assistance to clients utilizing various types of lifting equipment, including diesel, gas, electric, and manual devices. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while providing essential support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to troubleshoot equipment issues, gathering detailed information to diagnose operational problems and recommend effective solutions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding warranty and operational details of products, providing accurate information through verbal communication, written documentation, or supplementary materials.
  • Identify necessary parts and supplies to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Relay critical information about equipment issues or potential improvements to relevant internal teams. Occasionally, conduct formal training sessions for customers on the safe use, maintenance, and care of equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards and warranty requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and equipment malfunctions to ascertain causes and prepare repair estimates as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the overall goals of the position.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and visual schematics, including electrical and hydraulic symbols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with engine mechanics is highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with the product line is desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction or automotive equipment is a significant asset.
  • Background in customer service or technical support is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
