Overview:
The Service Manager is accountable for overseeing the scheduling of shop operations, delegating tasks to team members, and providing guidance to Service Technicians in the maintenance and repair of machinery. This role also involves planning field service assignments and coordinating personnel for various tasks, as well as managing logistics for equipment transportation.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Educational Background and Experience:
A two-year certificate from a college or technical institution along with five years of relevant experience is preferred. A college degree is advantageous. Heavy equipment service experience may be considered in conjunction with educational qualifications.
