Fleet Jobs is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment, including off-road trucks, excavators, and rollers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose equipment issues, performing repairs and maintenance as needed
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on equipment and company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed
- Assist mechanics in the performance of mechanical repairs as required
- Perform safety inspections on vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of diesel engines and heavy construction equipment
- Knowledgeable of both on-road and off-road heavy machinery
- Ability to use mechanics software to evaluate and close out work orders
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
