Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, identifying risk factors and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Lead groups and individual therapies, adapting activities to meet the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trauma-informed care practices and motivational interviewing techniques.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field (or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in individual and group therapy).
  • 2-5 years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW) or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Code Green training within 60 days.
