Position Overview
The Enterprise Truck Division is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Vehicle Service Attendant (Truck Detailer/Washer). Our Truck Rental Division focuses on providing transportation solutions for both business clients and retail customers. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining a fleet of clean, well-kept trucks. The Vehicle Service Attendant will be tasked with cleaning, detailing, and performing light maintenance on a varied fleet of Medium-Duty trucks.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a competitive pay rate of $20.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including windshields, windows, and mats.
- Remove decals and ensure trucks are de-identified.
- Safely operate various vehicles on and off the lot, assisting with local vehicle deliveries and other job-related tasks.
- Monitor and maintain fluid levels across all vehicles.
- Report any potential safety hazards, equipment issues, or vehicle concerns to management.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and replacing marker lights.
- Keep the work area, tools, and equipment organized and in good working order.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Additional Information
This position is subject to Department of Transportation regulations, requiring all applicants to be at least 21 years old and qualified to drive under these regulations. Candidates will need to provide a valid medical examiner's certificate or complete a medical examination.
