About the Role

At Clarendale Arcadia, we're seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Culinary Services to oversee our community's culinary services department. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for maintaining high-quality food service, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and promoting a positive dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive culinary services program that aligns with our community's mission and values.
  2. Supervise and manage the culinary services team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent food preparation, presentation, and service.
  3. Research and plan menu cycles that meet dietary and nutritional requirements, while ensuring menu items are appealing and satisfying to our residents.
  4. Meet or exceed budgetary and financial guidelines, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of food services, including planning, preparation, and presentation.
  6. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an executive chef, chef, or food service manager in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
  • Proven experience in administration and management of food service systems, including supervision, budgeting, and quality control.
