We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Genoa Healthcare, a leading pharmacy care services company. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the functions of our mental health pharmacy, working closely with our registered pharmacists to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Utilizes strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
- 1+ years of retail pharmacy technician experience
- Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
