Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing patient care
  • Operate pharmacy equipment, including automated dispensing systems and point-of-sale terminals
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient profiles and medication histories
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate medication dosages and quantities
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending
