Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join its Finance and Accounting team. This role will report to the Sr. Director, FP&A, and will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic analysis across various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models for existing assets and prospective investments, including projections for capital expenditure planning, income statements, cash flow analysis, and investment returns.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of capital projects, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts, covering revenue, expenses, EBITDA, and capital investments, while aligning with the company's overall financial strategy.
  • Support the creation of periodic capital approval requests, monthly and quarterly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, with a focus on financial reporting, performance to budget, strategic narratives, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Generate and analyze variance reports, comparing actual performance against budgeted and forecasted results. Work closely with department leads and project managers to identify variance drivers and update forecasts accordingly.
  • Contribute to the underwriting and due diligence of prospective capital fundraisings, acquisitions, and development activities.
  • Support the implementation and management of financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity in financial reporting.
  • Participate in developing and presenting critical financial matters to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing the company's financial reporting on both operational cash flow and capital investments.
  • Collaborate with the analyst team (Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc.) to streamline fiscal functions and improve processes related to budget, forecast, and reporting tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in an FP&A or similar finance-related role, with a strong preference for experience in data centers, telecom, construction, real estate, private equity, or investment banking.
  • A strategic thinker with a robust understanding of finance and GAAP accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to build and manage complex financial models.
  • Proven experience driving or leading budget cycles is highly advantageous and considered a significant plus.
  • Experience with construction budget management and budget management systems considered a significant plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • A team player with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Flexibility and a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
What We Offer
  • This is a full-time salaried position, including equity compensation and a performance-based annual bonus.
  • This is a hybrid role, with expectations to work at least three days in-office per week.
  • This role is based in downtown Denver, with parking for the successful candidate paid by EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure.
  • Base salary range is $115,000 – $140,000, depending on experience.
